Girls Golf U...Reg Deadline May 22
Play the Teva ProAm!
Teva ChampionshipIn appreciation of our strong support over the first three years of the event, Teva Championship organizers have donated a ProAm team to our Chapter for this year's tournament!

This is a chance for three lucky EWGA members to play The Bruin at Kings Island with one of the LPGA Futures Tour pros who will be competing there June 11-13 in the Teva (formerly known as Duramed)Championship.

Coinciding with the Chapter's support of Hamilton County Parks District's new Girls Golf U clinic program, we're using the ProAm donation to help raise money to purchase Teva admission tickets for GGU participants and to use as prizes and gifts for Chapter members. Here's how it works:
  •  Now through May 27, purchase entries into our drawing for one of the ProAm spots for just $25 each. (The value is $600!)
  • On Friday, May 28, we'll draw three winners at random and notify them. (Winners must confirm intent to play immediately; if unable to play, a replacement winner will be drawn.)
  • Winners will decide (as a team) whether they want to play Wed (June 9) or Thur (June 10). Play begins at 8 a.m. All ProAm participants are invited to the Wed "Meet the Pros Party," receive breakfast, lunch and a goodie bag on day of play, and two good-any-one-day tickets to the Teva Championship.
Purchase Teva ProAm Drawing entry now. For more info go to GET INVOLVED tab and select Our Community or use Contact Us to email Communications Chair Gale Wallmark.

Teva Volunteers Still Needed!
We don't have an exact count, but an increasing number of EWGA members are among the corps of volunteer housing hosts, marshalls, walking scorers, caddies and others without whom the tournament would not be possible.

If you haven't yet signed up, please take a few minutes now! Click here for the Teva Championship Web site Volunteer page.

Girls Golf U
Girls Golf U
EWGA Cincinnati is proud to support a unique clinic program being piloted by Hamilton County Parks Distric at Meadowlinks. The five-clinic program offers special instruction for girls, 12-17, who are playing or aspire to play school team golf.

Each clinic is followed by half hour with a guest speaker. The June 8 clinic will be led by LPGA Futures Tour pros at Kings Island.

Other speakers include UC Coach Jan Carl, sports psychologist Dr. Barbara Wallker and new EWGA member Katie Wallace, who will describe how she's using golf to succeed in her new sales position with Young Chemical!

The GGU registration deadline is this Sat, May 22. If you know any girls who might be interested, please download and forward this GGU Flyer!
