Short Game Clinic & Scramble July 11...Register by July 5

EWGA Championship logoIt was a sweltering first day of summer, but our field of 25 competitors took the heat and humidity in stride June 21 during the Cincinnati Chapter Championship at Heatherwoode GC in Springboro.

Win or lose, we were there to test our skills, conquer our nerves and play at least one round in the world's largest women's amateur golf tournament -- the EWGA Championship.

Now, for our winners, it's on to the Ohio Valley semi-final round August 8 at Chestnut Ridge GC near Pittsburgh. Our chapter will be represented there by:

Championship Flight:

Annie Busam

First Flight:

Candy Begnoche, low gross

Karen Womack, low net

Second Flight:

Jacqueline Steele, low gross

Diane Torrance, low net

Third Flight:

Mindy Richards, low gross

Pat Mendell, low net

Scramble Team:

Sara Freitag

Sherry Black

Wilma Kumler

Tina Smith

Congratulations to all! We'll be rooting for you all the way!
