 Come on senoritas! Let's put on the red and head "South
of the Border" for the Chapter's annual Fall Outing Skins Game,
Sunday, Sept 20 at AJ Jolly GC in Alexandria, KY.
The fun-format
event is a two-person scramble where the two teams in each foursome
compete to win a "skin" (a.k.a., a prize) on each
hole.
A pre-round
"South of the Border" Putting Contest will benefit Go Red
for Women! (see below) and after the round, we'll enjoy
a "Fiesta Feast" buffet and award prizes.
Line up a
partner to play with (guests are welcome!) or we'll pair you up.
Either way, we'll need your HCI or avg score when you
register. $75 for members, $90 for
non-members includes greens fee, cart, the

In conjunction with our Fall Outing, the Chapter is
once again participating in Go
Red for Women! -- the American Heart
Association's campaign to fight heart disease.
Whether or not
you can play in the event on Sept 20, we hope you'll consider joining
fellow members to help wipe out the No. 1 killer of women in the
U.S.
Go
Red for Women! donations can
be made online in increments of $25 and will be forwarded to the
AHA. If you're playing in the event, your donation is an
entry into the South of the Border Putting Contest. Multiple
entries are welcome!

 Our Chapter has invited members of
the Columbus, Dayton, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Knoxville
and Nashville chapters to join us for a getaway weekend of
golf and EWGA camraderie in the Kentucky countryside.

Candy!
First flight, low gross winner of our Chapter Championship
Candy
Begnoche is headed to Port St Lucie
(FL) for the 36-hole EWGA Championship Final, September 25-26 at
The PGA Golf Club!
Candy was runner up low net in the August 8 Ohio Valley
semi-final, and earns her spot in the final field as a replacement
for the low net winner, who chose not to advance.
We'll be rooting for you, Candy!

Congratulations to Chapter President Mindy Richards
who shot an even par 36 playing the front nine at Indian
Ridge August 22.
She started with two bogies, but settled down
to finish the round with two birdies and five pars!
Awesome!
